I promise this will be a short post; I just wanted
to pose the question.
Would you want to know all the details of your
spouse’s affair?
It seems hard enough dealing with the infidelity,
but knowing ALL the details seems pretty difficult. Some people need details,
what positions, was there oral sex, where did the sexual encounters take place.
I couldn’t handle the details; the details will be forever embedded in my mind.
I’m such a visual person, knowing the details would be equivalent to me
watching their sex tape. It seems like after an affair I would be numb and
would lose interest in my husband. Besides, how do you get the images out of
your head? The image would invade my every waking thought; I would be haunted
by the images…..LOL. Despite the effort to stop the barrage of the sexual
images, I probably would be powerless.
Would you want to know all the details?

I would want to know the details just to know exactly how far he went and how much he was into it, but I would also never be able to recover from the mental images. Everytime I close my eyes they would probably pop into my head out of know where and I would resent him and probably rehash and start another argument everytime it happened. Matter of fact I wouldn't be able to recover from him cheating while we're married period. Bottom line. If it does ever happen he better make like a cat and cover his S***.
